How to read this

If the chance of pregnancy in one cycle is 20%, the chance of not getting pregnant that cycle is 80%. Over six independent cycles at the same odds, the chance of still not being pregnant is 0.8⁶, so the cumulative chance of having conceived by then is about 1 − 0.8⁶ ≈ 74%. That is a population model, not a personal timeline.

Age bands here are rounded educational rates, not lab results. Health, timing of sex, cycle regularity, and many other factors change individual odds.
